A new erasmus scholarship selection for the 2013-2014 academic year

The Department of International Relations and European Studies announces a new selection for the scholarships available within our European partner universities through the LLP/ERASMUS program for the 2013-2014 academic year. The selection will take place on the 23rd of April 2013, at 10:00 in the V006 classroom.

Our Department Won the Main Prize within the Education Section of the European Values Multiplicators’ Gala from Northern Transylvania

The great trophy for education was won at the Gala for the Multipliers of European Values from North-Transylvania region with the project entitled: “Creative learning about UE. International Relations students in the North-West Region application”. Coordinator: Lecturer Adrian-Claudiu POPOVICIU Ph.D International Relations and European Studied Departament, Faculty of History, International Relations, Political Science and Communication Sciences, University of Oradea.

Tuesday, 27th of November 2012 in Cluj-Napoca, in the Great Hall the the “Casino” cultural center was held the Gala for the Multipliers of European Values from North-Transylvania, 4th edition, 2012, where the best projects from North-Transylvania were rewarded.

From a number of 116 projects that participated, a number of 42 won diplomas and trophies. Due to the high quality of the applicants, at this edition it was recorded the highest number of participants and the most fierce competition. The projects were from all six counties of the region and their financing was obtained from a number of diverse programs, like the Operational Regional Program, Operational Sectoram Program for Environment, Operational Program for Competitivity or even grants from the national budget. Some of the projects were implemented even without financing are were based on volunteers work and contribution.

The categories of the competition were: Solidarity, Education, Environment, Competitivity, Culture, Innovation, Multiplicator of the Year. To join the competition a form had to be written in which the contestents had to highlight the impact and the achievements of their projects. The jury was formed from experts from European Comission Romanian Representance and North-West Agency for Regional Development.

At the Education category, the great trophy was won by the project entitled „Creative learning about UE. International Relations students in the North-West Region application”, coordinator – lecturer ADRIAN POPOVICIU Ph.D, International Relations and European Studied Departament, Faculty of History, International Relations, Political Science and Communication Sciences, University of Oradea.
