Calendar

There are two admission sessions – the first in July and the second in September.

Confirmations – first phase

In order to finalize the admission process, you must confirm your spot for the specialization where you have admitted. In case you don’t confirm, you will lose your spot after they have been redistributed at the end of the confirmation period. 27th - 28th of July 2023 20th - 21st of July 2023
Confirmation - second phase

If you have gotten to an eligible spot, you must confirm your spot, so that you do not lose it. 31st of July 2023, until 4:00 PM and the 1st of August 2023, until 2:00 PM. 22nd of September 2023, until 4:00 PM.
Publishing final results

The final list of admitted students is published. 1st of August 2023, after 4:00 PM. 22nd of September 2023, after 4:00 PM.

  • Admission grade = Baccalaureate exam grade.
  • Grade average from English in highschool (a minimum of 8/10) or an accepted language certificate for English, such as Cambridge, TOEFL or IELTS or an interview, as the candidate chooses.
Master's
Specializations in English Criteria
European Studies (in English)
  • Graduate of a foreign language study program or the English grade average from the BA level or an accepted language certificate for English, such as Cambridge, TOEFL or IELTS or an interview, as the candidate chooses.
  • Research plan elaborated on the basis of the official bibliography (see below) – maximum 3 pages – 10%.
  • License exam average - 90%.

The admission folder

Depending on your status, the content of your application folder may differ. You can check below the various categories of documents that are necessary for the application folder.
Romanian candidates of EU Member States, of states pertaining to the European Economic Area and of the Swiss Confederation with a baccalaurate degree obtained in Romania.
Details
  • Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent to it (original or copy that is certified by the original or with a certificate issued by the institution that holds the original – in case the original is held by another institution) or, in case of highschools that have not issued the Baccalaurate diploma for the class of 2022, a certificate issued by the respective instituion.
  • Birth certificate – simple copy (the candidate must present the original for certification).
  • Marriage certificate – simple copy (the candidate must present the document in original for certification) – if necessary.
  • Medical certificate, issued by the family doctor, stating that the candidate is apt for the faculty for which s/he wants to apply.
  • 2 standard photos.
  • Identity card – simple copy (the candidate must present the original for certification).
  • Receipt / payment order of the enrollment fee.
  • Data protection consent.

  • ! Candidates with studies outside Romania must present the Certification for the Validation of Studies, issued by the specialized department within the Ministry of Education. This is the main document necessary for the application folder.
